Danny and Kirsten

On a beautiful summer day in August,  Danny and Kirsten were married in the western suburbs of Chicago.  Here are a few of my favorite moments from their day…

Danny's best man was his brother Corey, the oldest of the four brothers, he helped him with a few finishing details.

Kirsten's accessories complimented her champagne colored silk wedding dress perfectly.

Danny arrived at the church first... we captured these portraits with soft light coming in through the stained glassed windows.

Danny and his Groomsmen

The canopied arches, at The Japanese Gardens in Batavia, Illinois, were a perfect place for our bride and groom to escape the heat of the afternoon sunlight. I love the intimacy of these photographs.

A beautiful summer day....

As the sun started to set, it filtered a warm golden light that perfectly illuminated the flower details on the wedding cake from Cocoa Bean in Geneva, Illinois.                                Danny and Kirsten’s first dance at their reception at St. Charles Country Club, St. Charles, Illinois.

The Bride and “The Bean”

The Art & Architecture at Chicago’s Millennium Park made the perfect combination for a recent bridal portrait session.

The sculpture Cloud Gate, a.k.a 'The Bean", in the center of Chicago's Millennium Park reflected the beauty of the city's skyline.

The perfect juxtaposition of our Bride and background against the Jay Pritzker Pavillion in Chicago's Millenium park.

I loved the juxtaposition of our Bride against the architectural background of the Jay Pritzker Pavillion.

The trees along Lake Shore drive created the look of a winter wonderland on a sizzling Chicago summer day!
